Privacy Policy

StayRelieved is a free informational service that helps US consumers explore whether a debt resolution program may fit their situation. We do this by asking a small number of questions on the Site and then directing you to a third-party provider that handles enrollment, contact, and the actual program.

StayRelieved is NOT:

• A lender, bank, or financial institution
• A debt relief provider, debt settlement company, or law firm
• A credit counseling agency
• A government agency or affiliated with any government program
• A financial, legal, tax, or credit advisor

We do not collect or store your name, email, phone number, or other contact details on the Site. When you select an option that directs you to a third-party provider, you provide that information to the provider directly — not to us. Their own privacy policy governs how they handle it.

When you use the Site, we process the following limited information:

a) Your responses to our on-site questions (for example, your general debt range and financial goals). These are used to direct you to the most relevant provider. We do not link these responses to a named individual.

b) Standard web data collected automatically when you visit any website:

• IP address and approximate location
• Device and browser information
• Pages visited, time spent, referring URL, click data
• Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 6)

c) Conversion and attribution data when you click through to a provider, such as click IDs, campaign IDs, and timestamps used to measure ad performance.

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, financial account numbers, or government identifiers on the Site.

We use the information described above to:

• Direct you to a relevant third-party provider based on your responses
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
• Measure and analyze advertising performance and attribute conversions
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with our legal obligations

Where UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases for processing:

• Legitimate interests — operating the Site, measuring ad performance, and preventing fraud
• Consent — for non-essential cookies, pixels, and marketing analytics, where required by law

You can withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time through our cookie banner or your browser settings.

We share information with:

a) Third-party debt resolution providers — when you click through from the Site, we may pass click and campaign identifiers (not personal contact details) so the provider can attribute the visit. Once you reach the provider's site or speak with them, any information you give them is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.

b) Service providers — including hosting, analytics (such as Google Analytics), and advertising platforms (such as Meta and Google Ads) that help us run and measure the Site.

c) Legal and safety — if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of users or others.

d) Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Sharing of cookie and conversion data with advertising partners may, however, qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" under certain US state privacy laws. See Section 8 for your rights.

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to:

• Make the Site work and remember your preferences
• Measure how the Site is used
• Measure ad performance and attribute conversions
• Deliver relevant advertising on third-party platforms (such as Meta and Google)

You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where shown, through our cookie banner. Disabling some cookies may affect Site functionality. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable.

We retain the limited data described in Section 2 only for as long as needed to operate the Site, measure performance, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations. Anonymous analytics data may be retained longer in aggregated form.

UK and EU residents

If you are in the UK or EU, you have rights under UK GDPR / EU GDPR including:

• The right to access information we hold about you
• The right to request correction or deletion
• The right to object to or restrict processing
• The right to withdraw consent for cookie-based tracking
• The right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or your local supervisory authority

To exercise these rights, email info@stayrelieved.com. Because we do not collect contact details on the Site, in most cases we will only be able to act on cookie- or device-level data you can identify.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we process
• Request access, deletion, or correction
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information
• Be free from discrimination for exercising your rights

Other US state residents

If you live in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, or any other US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have similar rights. Contact info@stayrelieved.com to exercise them.

StayRelieved is operated from the United Kingdom. Our service providers (hosting, analytics, advertising platforms) may store and process data in the United States and other countries. Where required by UK GDPR, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or rely on adequacy decisions to protect international transfers.

The Site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently processed information from a minor, contact info@stayrelieved.com.

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect the limited information we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site contains links to third-party providers and other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before submitting any information to them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site where appropriate.
